Nobu Hospitality is expanding its global footprint with the launch of Nobu Hotel London Portman Square. Located at the corner of Portman Square in the Marylebone section of the city, the new 249-room property conveys a contemporary interpretation of Japanese architectural themes—the luxury hotel brand’s signature aesthetic—via a collaborative design by locally based David Collins Studio.
“Our designs for this Nobu Hotel merge the unique Nobu vibe with character, richness, and a welcoming warmth,” says Simon Rawlings, creative director at David Collins Studio. “The finishes have an aura of craft, hand work, technicality, and layering. These combine to create a very special and unique aesthetic, which will embody ultimate calm and comfortable luxury.”
