Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of an agreement to open Canopy by Hilton Tangier Bay. Expected to open in 2026, the hotel will mark the introduction of Hilton’s brand, Canopy by Hilton to the city of Tangier.
Carlos Khneisser, vice president, development, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, said, “Canopy by Hilton is growing across Africa, as we expand the brand into new destinations and showcase vibrant neighborhoods in Tangier, Cape Town, and the Seychelles. The signing of Canopy by Hilton Tangier Bay reinforces our commitment to expanding Hilton’s portfolio in Morocco, where we plan to double our presence in the coming years”.
