Pillows Hotels will launch its seventh property in the heart of Amsterdam in the final quarter of 2022. Located within a palatial 20th-century landmark in Oosterpark, Pillows Maurits at the Park will feature architecture by locally based practice Office Winhov and Studio Linse will oversee the interior design.
Conceived as a cosmopolitan meeting place, the grand structure will be reimagined to harken back to its history as a university. The building’s new wing will be distinguished by a variety of different windows that will bond the indoors with the outdoors. Warm lighting will infuse serenity across interiors characterized by “noble simplicity.”
