This winter, The Hythe, Luxury Collection Hotel, Vail is slated to debut against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado’s Lionshead Village. The vibrant upscale concept will boast a $40 million design by Wilson Ishihara Design that honors the trailblazing legacy of the alpine destination and pays homage to the majesty of the mountains. “The project was inspired by the origin of Vail, the people who built the resort in the ’60s, and its beautiful surrounding nature that drove people to this destination,” says Wilson Ishihara partner Mark Wilson. “It represents the pioneering spirit, optimism, creative visions, friendship, camaraderie, and most significantly, their mutual love of skiing.”
