Shoo Shoo, a Mediterranean restaurant in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood, has expanded its offerings with an underground speakeasy bar.
The space was crafted by Israeli designer Meir Guri, who also envisioned the main dining area, which debuted in 2018. Much more moody than its bright and light upstairs counterpart, the lounge is an ideal location for pre- or post-dinner drinks, and can accommodate private parties and events for up to 55 guests.
The hidden spot is also an appropriate addition as Shoo Shoo translates to “a secret spot” in Hebrew.
