The 50-key Hotel Anna & Bel will soon debut in Fishtown, Philadelphia, amidst the neighborhood’s arts, music, and culinary scene.
Slated to debut in March 2024, the hotel will breathe new life into several historic buildings, including an 18th-century structure that once served as a women’s asylum and later, the historic Penn Home, one of the city’s earliest retirement homes.
Designed by locally based Foyer Project in collaboration with B-March, the boutique property will seamlessly blend classic and contemporary elements. The team drew inspiration from century-old wallpaper and pastel colors uncovered during renovations, as well as intricate embroidery details. The overall design concept embraces curves and graceful lines to pay homage to the building’s feminine roots.
