Palisociety has announced plans to increase its footprint in California with its inaugural property in San Diego. Set to become the independent hospitality brand’s 15th unit upon opening later this spring, Palihotel San Diego will occupy the former St. James Hotel, an early 20th-century landmark in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter.
“The city of San Diego is a natural extension of our home base of Los Angeles, but with a personality all its own that easily complements Palihotel’s playful, irreverent style,” says Palisociety founder Avi Brosh. “We enthusiastically welcomed the opportunity to transform this gem of a property and pay homage to its roots as the St. James, while injecting our own modern-day sense of classic and unexpected charm into every space.”
