Set to debut in London late next year, the Newman will mark the first property from Kinsfolk & Co, a new hospitality management company that launched in May. The contemporary hotel will seamlessly integrate into the artistic community of Fitzrovia, where Bloomsbury’s culture meets Soho’s style.
Designed by Pernille Lind and Richy Almond of Lind + Almond, the Newman will convey a refined aesthetic marked by whimsical, eclectic touches.
Specifically, the design narrative will take cues from “the patchwork development of the area and the captivating characters who called it their home over the years,” says Almond. “They have become the real inspiration for the Newman’s story.” For instance, Fitzrovia’s bohemian queen, Nancy Cunard, will be referenced subtly throughout the property, including nods to her signature bangles and polka dots.
