Hilton recently announced that the Waldorf Astoria brand will make its debut in Malaysia next year.
The Hong Kong studio of LW Design will transform the former Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur into the Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur. “With the legacy of the property in mind, the design language will be rooted in classic principles where proportion and symmetry are paramount,” says LW senior interior designer Jacqueline Tan Co. “Reinterpreted with a modern approach and paired with a fresh contemporary palette, the aesthetic will be undeniably contemporary.”
