Luxury hotels and resorts group Aman is set to open a new hotel in New York in spring 2021, located in Manhattan’s historic Crown Building.
The hotel will be located at the crossroads of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue, and its opening will coincide with the centenary of the Crown Building – formerly the first home of the city’s Museum of Modern Art.
The building has been transformed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston, with interiors paying homage to the landmark’s “striking architecture and significant history”, while also incorporating the brand’s Asian roots into the design.
