Owner Pablo Sartori and partners David and Frank Stork have brought a second location of Negroni—an international chain that is expanding outside of South America—to the U.S. in Los Angeles. The negroni and sushi lounge’s West 3rd Street location follows its first stateside outpost in Miami (the concept has also opened in Weston, Florida). Local firm Preen, Inc. was tapped to transform the two-story former A.O.C. space, updating the interiors with dramatic dark tones and a black and white geometric patterned flooring.
“The goal with Negroni was to create a social atmosphere that seamlessly merges the bar and restaurant experience, a co-mingling and resurgence of social dining,” explains Preen founder Alexis Readinger. “The space was intended to foster a sense of buzzing energy, alive with conversation.
