Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has recently signed an agreement to open a new SeleQtions hotel in Chennai, marking their first SeleQtions brand in the city. This new development, situated in the East Coast Road (ECR) area, will be part of a 30-acre eco-friendly project designed to attract both business and leisure travelers. The project is developed in partnership with GT Bharathi Urban Developers, aiming to become a destination for travelers from nearby major cities. The hotel will feature 120 rooms, various dining options including an all-day diner, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. Additionally, amenities such as a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, and spa will be available, catering to the increasing travel demand in the region. Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, Suma Venkatesh, has expressed excitement about expanding IHCL’s multi-brand presence in Chennai.
