IHG Hotels & Resorts has made a significant addition to its portfolio with the opening of Hotel Indigo in Las Colinas, Irving, Texas, marking the 13th Texas-based property inaugurated by the company in 2024. This latest addition, a 150-room hotel developed and owned by Shree M Capital, is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Dallas Love Field airport and adjacent to the scenic Mandalay Canal. The hotel’s design and aesthetic capture the essence of the local culture, landscape, and storied history of Las Colinas, providing guests with an immersive experience. The in-house restaurant, KLEO, amplifies this cultural narrative by offering a contemporary Mediterranean dining experience that reflects the global influences prevalent in the area.

Guests of Hotel Indigo Las Colinas can enjoy an array of amenities designed to enhance their stay. Among these are an outdoor pool equipped with a bar that offers picturesque views of the canal, a fitness center for health-conscious travelers, and a substantial 5,400 square feet of meeting and event space, catering to both corporate and social gatherings. Carol Hoeller, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing for Hotel Indigo and voco hotels, highlighted the unique combination of cultural elements and modern comforts, indicating that the hotel’s design and offerings align seamlessly with the vibrant and diverse spirit of the Las Colinas neighborhood.

The hotel’s owner, Bhavin Patel of Shree M Capital, expressed a commitment to delivering an exceptional boutique experience that honors the rich corporate and cultural heritage of the area. Las Colinas itself is a locale renowned for its cultural vibrancy, hosting events such as Canal Fest and the DFW Dragon Boat Festival, which add to the colorful tapestry of experiences available to visitors. Hotel Indigo’s presence in this dynamic setting underscores IHG’s broader strategy of expanding its footprint while offering culturally rich and locally inspired lodging options to travelers worldwide.

With Hotel Indigo now operational in Las Colinas, IHG continues to demonstrate its dedication to melding local culture with exceptional hospitality. Currently, Hotel Indigo operates 162 hotels globally, with 128 additional properties in development, including new sites in Barbados, West Chester, Pa., and Lima Miraflores.
