The Charles Garden marked a strategic pivot from ad hoc lawns and pop-ups to a high-spec infrastructure shaped as flexible “outdoor rooms.” That approach protected aesthetics while solving recurring operational pain points: guest flow, F&B efficiency, and predictable builds that avoid weather-frayed timelines. The ceremony axis, lounge area, and terrace read as a single narrative, so movement feels deliberate rather than improvised. Moreover, the garden’s capacity dovetailed with the refurbished Bridgeman Selwin Suite, allowing ceremonies outside and dinners for up to 200 inside without reconfiguring the day’s backbone. Culinary upgrades matched the setting—canapés, multi-course menus, and street-food formats gave planners a palette that could flex from formal to festive. An adjacent Woodland Table Wedding Brunch added open-fire theater and a local-produce ethos, drawing from the estate’s Kitchen Garden to extend celebrations beyond a single service window.
